The Ladder

Jesus Came down to my level and meet me where I am.

THIS PERFECT LOVE CAME DOWN TO OUR LEVEL...TO WHERE WE ARE AT....Just last sunday, I heard a marvelous preaching on Zacchaeus, he is the little man that climb up the tree to see Jesus (Luke 19). The tree may symbolizes a ladder that we climb.. we have success ladder, we have corporate ladder, all of our lives, we climb and climb.. we want to get to the top, we want to be like this and be like that, we want what he has or what she has.. we want to climb and show off what we have achieved, that we are so great and gosh see, this is what i have done.. dun be fooled, is not just in the secular world but even in the christian church setting, we want to climb up to A, and from A we want to be at B, B to C.. if there is a ladder and God is at the top..imagine with me:

Imagine if Christianity is really a ladder... where will you and i be?! @_@ the bottomless pit? under the ground?

Thank God that Christianity is not a ladder. JESUS CAME DOWN to our level and meet us where we are at.  Zaccheaus is not just A tax collector, he is the CHIEF OF TAX COLLECTOR, he probably has climb and climb all his life and just so use to climbing ..and what did Jesus tell him?? "COME DOWN IMMEDIATELY!". he probably is telling him,  hey, you! you don't need to be up there to meet me.. come as you are.. I want to meet you where you are at.

Jesus met Zaccheaus at where he is at.

He will meet us at where we are at. we don't need to pretend. we don't need to mask ourselves ...even in the christian setting.  One thing to remind believers is that please...please allow people, create the environment for people to be able to 'unmask'! sometimes is not that people do not want to unmask. They do not know how to do it infront of 'HOLY CHRISTIANS'. Allow God’s love to fill you. Allow God to show you His heart for the person. Jesus never do anything without a compassionate heart.

We as christians, for eg. as you walk and your tiny toe step on something sharp - your whole body reacts "OUCH" .. as your brother/sister face something in their lives, do you condemn, judge, criticize, assume, ignorance, indifference, gossip.. or do you react "OUCH"!!! Let us love one another.
